W dniu 21 grudnia 2023 roku o godzinie 12:30 w Audytorium Aleksandra Jabłońskiego (sala 26) Philip Gray (Toruń Photo Walks) wygłosi wykład pt. „Photography – causes and effects".
I shall draw on my own experiences over the years to try to draw together the multiple strands of what photography is and how it works.
Mostly, I hope to show the core of what you need to improve your own skills for a hobby that everyone should enjoy.
I will talk about photographs being just an abstraction of reality, and how that comes about. The fundamentals will be briefly covered, and I will try to put into perspective the increasing amount of inessential distractions.
Now that photography has become completely digital for most purposes, I shall review my own ordinary and amateur digital camera to run through what it offers. I view editing as an opportunity to make small improvements to what already exists, and so it needs to be mentioned.
