Students and employees of our Faculty may download or use legal software for free, with licenses are paid by the Faculty:
- Microsoft (more information here: Azure for Education) – it does not contain MS Office (i.e. does not contain Word, Excel nor PowerPoint).
- Azure for Education license gives you access to:
- Visual Studio (different versions)
- Microsoft Windows
- Servers (including MS Windows Server, SQL, Exchange, Sharepoint Portal and more)
- Corel (including Corel DRAW i Video Studio) – license for employees and students preparing their thesis) – contact person dr Sławomir Zelek
- Mathematica – network license (is available only at faculty’s laboratories and servers such as ferm etc) – contact person dr Sławomir Zelek
- Mathematica – stationary (home-use) licenses for employees – contact person dr hab. Michał Zieliński, prof. UMK
(Addional information : there are no home use Mathematica licenses available for students) - Matlab – Campus-Wide License allows each employee and student to install the full version of Matlab on their computer. Requires an account on MathWorks service
- Antivirus program ESET SMART SECURITY (NOD32) – only UMK’s own computers
