Laboratory of Distributed Control Systems

The lab is used for laboratory classes in the subject of Distributed Control Systems and SCADA Supervisory Systems. The laboratory aims to familiarise students with advanced issues related to the programming of industrial control systems, in which programmable logic controllers (PLCs) are commonly used. In particular, the workstations allow students to become familiar with issues of motion control, implementation of continuous process control, industrial communication configuration, and HMI and SCADA supervisory systems.
