Why is Materials for Advanced Technologies worth studying?

Materials for Advanced Technologies program combines Physics, Chemistry and Maths. You will be getting information on the manufacture, processing, properties, application, structure, design and degradation of materials and on the description of physical and chemical mechanisms influencing the properties of materials. You will be using modern equipment to carry out physical and chemical experiments. You will get to know semiconductors, glass, polymers, liquid crystal materials, metals, biomaterials, bioprostheses, surgical and dentist materials. You will get basic knowledge of materials and you will learn research methods.

If you have a look at Streszczenie raportu o zapotrzebowaniu gospodarki na absolwentów szkół wyższych kierunków matematycznych, przyrodniczych i technicznych (A summary of a report on the economy’s demand for maths, science and engineering graduates), you will see on page 8 how much our economy needs you; in other words, how easily you will find a job.

You will also find Materials for Advanced Technologies in a Ministry of Science and Higher Education program called "studies in demand". Among other solutions, this program postulates high scholarships to motivate people to begin studies.
